Ron Dennis is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Technology Group, and the Chairman of McLaren Automotive. He is also Co-Chairman of Tommy’s, the UK’s leading charity funding pioneering research to develop screening tests and treatments for all pregnancy complications, alongside Sally Tennant.

Ron has been a pioneering force within motorsport since he began his career more nearly 50 years ago. Measured by the 158 Grand Prix wins and 17 World Championship triumphs that McLaren has achieved since he took control after the end of the 1980 Formula 1 season, he is the most successful team chief in the history of Formula 1 racing.

McLaren’s activities range from producing the innovative hybrid ultra-high-performance sports car, the McLaren P1™; to providing technical support to assist Team GB athletes win 15 gold medals at the 2012 Olympic Games; to working in partnership with GSK to improve the efficiency of that company’s medication trials and production processes.

The McLaren Technology Centre housed in an iconic Foster & Partners building in Woking employs more than 3,000 people in total.
