Pi Capital co-invested in Risk Capital Partners’ first institutionally-backed fund, Risk Capital Partners II LP.

RCP was founded and is led by Luke Johnson who made his name, in part, through his investment in Pizza Express, and several other successful leisure interests. The fund will invest in lower and mid-market UK companies. The partners have a seven year record of investment in 15 companies, having generated an 87% IRR and 2.7x return. The fund has raised £75 million with a large portion coming directly from the partners. Pi Capital is the only non-institutional investor in the fund.
