
Through our relationship with Nick Fletcher, Chairman of advisory firm Saunderson House, we are delighted to have access to and be a part of a special seminar with guest speakers Anthony Bolton of Fidelity and Angus Tulloch of First State Investments, to debate China and the Emerging Markets. The event will include lunch and will start promptly at 12pm. The seminar will conclude at 2pm.
Anthony Bolton
Anthony Bolton is one of the UK’s best known and most successful fund managers having run Fidelity Special Situations, one of the biggest and top performing funds in the UK, from December 1979 to December 2007. Under his stewardship of 28 years, the fund achieved compound annual returns of over 19%, several percentage points ahead of comparable benchmarks. Now President of Fidelity International, Anthony acts as a mentor to fund managers at the group and in 2010 Anthony will be relocating to Fidelity’s office in Hong Kong where he will once again manage a portfolio - the China Equity fund.
Angus Tulloch
Angus Tulloch is Joint Managing Partner of the Asia Pacific/Global Emerging Markets equities team at First State Investments responsible for c$30 billion of funds. Angus’s primary focus is stock selection and portfolio construction. He has more than 30 years’ experience in fund management, joining Stewart Ivory (subsequently bought by First State Investments) in Scotland in 1988. It was here that he established an Asia Pacific/Global Emerging Markets capability, drawing on his three years’ experience in Hong Kong as a regional analyst.
