
Aditya Chakrabortty is the leading economics writer for the Guardian and has also written opinion articles relating to government, economic policy and finance for the Financial Times, the FT Magazine and the New Statesman. Prior to this he worked a senior economics producer at the BBC, working on the Today programme, the Ten o’clock News and Newsnight. In 2005 he won a Harold Wincott Award for his series of reports from China. Aditya graduated in Modern History from Oxford University.
