
Andrew Hill is an Associate Editor of the Financial Times. He has been City Editor of the FT and editor of the daily Lombard column on British business and finance since September 2006. Andrew was Financial Editor from June 2005 to September 2006, in charge of coverage of companies and markets. Before that, Andrew was the FT’s Comment & Analysis Editor, responsible for the paper’s opinion and features pages. Since joining the FT in 1988, he has also as New York Bureau Chief, foreign news editor, and correspondent in Brussels and Milan. He was named Commentator of the Year at the 2009 Business Journalist of the Year Awards, where he also received the Decade of Excellence award for sustained achievement in business and financial journalism.
