John has been a close supporter of Shelter for a number of years. Most recently he was a member of Shelter’s Keys to the Future Appeal Board, raising funds for Shelter’s Children’s Services to support young people across the UK affected by homelessness and bad housing. Shelter tackles the root causes of bad housing by lobbying government and local authorities for new laws and policies, and more investment, to improve the lives of homeless and badly housed people. Shelter has achieved great things in its history, but their work won’t stop until everyone in Britain can access a decent, affordable home.
