An Evening with Sir Richard Dearlove, Veracity Advisory Board member and former head of MI6

Sir Richard Dearlove KCMG, OBE served as Chief (Known as "C") of MI6, the British Secret Intelligent Service, from August 1999 until his retirement in July 2004.  For the proceeding 5 years, he was Director of Operations and from 1998 Assistant Chief. His intelligence career spanned 38 years and he served in Nairobi, Paris, Prague, Geneva, and Washington as well as a number of high-level posts in London.  Sir Richard is currently the Master of Pembroke College, Cambridge.  He is a member of the International Advisory Board of AIG, Senior Adviser to Monitor Group, and Chairman of Ascot Underwriting.  He holds an MA degree from Queens College, Cambridge.  Sir Richard sits on the Veracity Advisory Board.  Veracity is a business intelligence firm specializing in emerging markets.  Their core competence is the acquisition and analysis of obscure, concealed, or complex information in environments where reliable intelligence is difficult to find.  Veracity operates discreetly and retains a wide network of trusted local contacts to provide ground-based intelligence in critical areas.
